The aircraft icons describe weather for normal aircraft activity at an airfield or strip. The assessment uses separate, more tolerant wind, gust, and direction-variation thresholds than the paraglider profile.
Good thermal window
Steady approach with good visibility and an orderly wind picture.
Watch conditions
Normal aircraft silhouette with a clear caution marker.
Flyable but rough
Disturbed air around the aircraft and more demanding wind conditions.
Stable / weak
Quiet, weak conditions with low energy in the air.
Avoid right now
Red aircraft icon for conditions that should be avoided.
Rain
Aircraft icon with a darker cloud and clearer rain.
Night
Aircraft icon with a moon to show night or darkness.
